 Celebrate the fun and excitement of the SF Zine Fest at our annual Mission: Comics After Party!

Mix and mingle with some of the Bay Area's most talented creators and meet the team that makes the Zine Fest happen. There will be food, drinks, and even a few DIY-themed party games where you can win some seriously cool prizes.

San Francisco Zine Fest 2013

 The San Francisco Zine Fest is a free, annual celebration of small-press publishing, from zines and comics to art books and beyond. The SF Zine Fest serves as a vital showcase of the diversity, creativity, and ongoing exuberance of the small press movement.  

Our exhibitors range from established small-press publishing houses to first time self-publishers and creators. Writers, artists, cartoonists, crafters, illustrators, printmakers and all manner of artists use the SF Zine Fest as a unique venue to sell, trade, and otherwise share their work with an ever-growing audience.  

SFZF 2013 is FREE and open to the public! Over 140 small-press and DIY creators will be selling, trading, and sharing their work with the public at large.

Thinking Captions

The Cartoon Art Museum and SF Zine Fest are proud to present Thinking Captions 2013: Cartoonists Reading Their Cartoons, at the Cartoon Art Museum Thursday, August 29th from 7pm to 9pm. A diverse lineup of small-press cartoonists will read from their respective works, accompanied by a special Keynote presentation. The lineup, consisting of artists exhibiting at this years’s SF Zine Fest, consists of Emily Alden Foster, Roman Muradov, Sophia Foster-Dimino, Ric Carrasquillo, and Justin Hall. The suggested donation for this event is $5, although no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
